We have total of 49 students registered in 5 different levels from pre-school to adult conversation. We hope to have total of 12 levels. Each level is a 16 week term meeting Sundays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We are planning to do some fundraising to purchase education materials for in class and home use of our students. Persia House of Michigan Board was able to help with the cost of building rental and books for this term, so we can keep the fee to $100 per term per student regardless of the number students per family and level. Hopefully our fundraising will bring enough money so we can continue to offer the classes at $100 per term. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Unknown Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2005 - Fall Description An account of the resource امسال دومین پیک نیک خانه ایران را در روزیکشنبه هفتم ماه اوت برگزار کردیم که البته هوایاری کرد و با وجود گرما شرکت کنندگان ازدیدار یکدیگر شادمان شدند. پیش از ظهر کهداوطلبان خانه ایران برای آماده کردن محيطرفتند گروهی را دیدند که در محل رزرو شده ماجا خوش کرده اند و مشغول پذیرایی از خودهستند. البته تیغ ما به آنها کارگر نیافتاد چونکارکنان پارک بدون توجه محل را به آنها داربودند. بالاخره پس از مقداری دوندگی و دیدنافراد مختلف به آنها فهماندیم که "بابا ما اینجا رااز یک سال قبل برای چنین روزی رزرو کردهایم". بلاخره آن گروه را با غرو لند فراوان بهگوشه ای دیگر فرستادند و ما مشغول تمیزکاری و روبراه کردن محل شدیم. یاران از راهرسیدند و بساط خود را بر روی میزهای پیکنیک پهن کردند. در ساعت سه و نیم بعد ازظهر (با نیمساعت تاخیر) اعلام شد که شرکتکنندگان در مسابقه آشپزی دست پخت خود را بهمسئولین تحویل دهند تا بوسیله داوران خوشاشتها محک زده شود. فرمهای لازم در اختیارآنان بود تا ابتدا به تزئین غذا نمره دهند تا بعد بهمزه آن برسند. آنچه مسلم است آنکه تزئیناتروی غذا بعلت حمل در اتومبیل و تکان تکانخوردن های متناوب بهم ریخته بود که بسیاریدوباره دست بکار شدند و غذا ها را از نو بزککردند. باری داوران باد به غبغب انداخته همانندناپلئون بناپارت و ملکه ویکتوریا دست بر پشتاز جلو صف غذاهای زبان بسته گذشتند و بهرکدام نمره ای دادند. آنگاه نوبت به آزمایش مزهرسید. قاشق بدست بجان خوراک افتادند و همانندبررسی کننده غذا ها در رستورانهای نیویورکو شیکاگو پس از خوردن لقمه ای "اوهوغلیظی تحویل داده و نمره ای به غذا میدادند.بعد هم که کار آنها تمام شد از افراد خواستند کهبه باقی مانده غذا ها حمله کنند. در طرفة العينيظروف خالی شد که نمود از آن داشت که حتمأخوشمزه بوده است.باری تعداد شرکت کننده شش نفر بود که به سهنفر آنها جوایزی تعلق گرفت. برندگان عبارتبودند از:نفر اول خانم منیژه احدینفر دوم خانم حوريه عارفينفر سوم آقای محمود معلميانبنا بر سابقه دیرینه ما دستور پخت نفر اولمسابقه را برای شما مینویسیم.کشک بادمجان برای ده نفرمواد لازم:- عدس یک لیوان- لوبیای سفید یک لیوان- گوشت یک پاوند- بامجان ٥ عدد متوسط- پیاز متوسط سه عدد سرخ کرده- سیر تازه یک بوته- گردو خرد شده یک لیوان- نعنا داغ نصف لیوان- کشک یک لیوان- خامه یک لیوان (sour cream)- نمک و فلفل به اندازه کافیطرز پخت: گوشت و لوبیا و عدس و نیمی ازپیازداغ را با سه تا چهار لیوان آب بگذارید تاکاملأ بپزد. بادمجان ها را پوست گرفته و سرخکنید و سپس آنها را با گوشت و پیاز و عدس ولوبیا مخلوط کرده و خوب میکوبیم. آنگاه گردوخورد شده و نعناداغ و سیرداغ و کشک و خامهرا به آن اضافه میکنیم و بهم میزنیم ( توجهداشته باشید که مقداری از کشک، خامه، نعناداغ، سیرداغ، و کشک را برای تزئین کنابگذارید) و نمک و فلفل آنرا اندازه کنید و آنگاهروی آنرا با موادی که کنار گذاشته اید تزئینکنید. نوش جان.
