The Book Club of Persia House of Michigan (PHOM) has been recently established with the leadership of the Ladies Club. For now, the book club is available only to PHOM’S current members. The book club has a collection of books and tapes, most of which are in Farsi. PHOM and Ladies Club continue to promote our culture and heritage through a variety of programs; the Book Club is one of the means used to attain this goal. People like you have donated books and money to make the Book Club possible. These donors have allowed other people to enjoy their books as they had. This will allow our children and grandchildren learn more about our culture. Books will help us stay in contact with Iranian literature and poetry. In addition, many of the parents and grandparents can enjoy a relaxing and joyful time while visiting their loved ones. You can contribute to this initiative by lending your books to the book club. You can always have your books returned to you with a month notice. A list of these books is available on PHOM’s web site at http://www.geocities.com/persiahousemi/ The club also has some music CDs and movies in VHS, DVD, and VCD format with a rental fee.
