The finalists will be selected basedon their grades, extra-curricular activities and application response. One$1000.00 award is available this season.2 - Shokoohi Family Merit AwardAward Description: Any Michigan Iranian-American college student,graduate or undergraduate, with minimum of 24 credits and minimum of3.0 (grade point average) may apply. The finalists will be selected basedon their grades, extra-curricular activities and application response. One$1000.00 award is available this season.3 - Dr. Najmabadi’s Persian Language AwardAward Description: Any high school or undergraduate college studentwith proficiency in Persian Language may apply. Applicant must havelived half of their life outside of Iran. Award committee will choose thebest overall applicant. One $1000.00 award is available this season.4 - Mehri Nivi Merit AwardAward Description: Any Michigan Iranian-American college student,graduate or undergraduate, with minimum of 24 credits and minimum of 3.0(grade point average) may apply. The finalists will be selected based on theirgrades, extra-curricular activities and application response. One $1000.00award is available this season.5 – Dr. Farrokh Nassirpour Merit AwardAward Description: Any Michigan Iranian-American college student, graduateor undergraduate, with minimum of 24 credits and minimum of 3.0 (grade pointaverage) may apply. The finalists will be selected based on their grades, extracurricularactivities and application response. One $1000.00 award isavailable this seasonApplication information in next pageGeneral Rules for 2015 Cultural Awards:The deadline for completing the submitted application is December 31, 2015. Finalists for each award will be selected and interviewed by the Award Committee in early 2016. The winners will be notified by March 15th, 2016. The award check will be presented at the PHOM Nowruz Celebration. The winners cannot enter the competition again. There will be continuous fund raising activities to raise fund for awards.
