قونیه آرامگاه مولانااین ستون کوششی است در پایایی راه و مسلک شادروان استاد حسن لاهوتییادش گرامی!" فروختن صوفیان بهیمة مسافر را جهت سماع "مثنوی معنوی، دفتر دوممولانا حکایتی شیوا و جذاب را به زبان طنز بیان مي كند تا آفتتقلید كوركورانه که انسان را به گمراهي و نابودي مي كشاند وارزش و اهمیت تحقیق را بازگو می نماید.لغت تقلید در لغت نامه دهخدا چنین معنی شده است :- قلاده در گردن کسی انداختن و از آنست کار در عهده کسی کردن- تفویض کردن عمل بر ولی چنانکه قرار دادن قلاده بر گردن وی- بدون نظر و تأمل پیروی کردن, مجازاً بمعنی پیروی کسی بیدریافت حقیقت آنبی شک تقلید کورکورانه قلاده ای است بر گردن !صوفیی در خانقاه از ره رسید مرکب خود برد و در آخُر کشیدآبکش داد و علف از دست خویش نه چنان صوفی که ما گفتیم پیشاحتیاطش کرد از سهو و خُباط چون قضا آید چه سودست احتیاطگرچه مرکب خود را تیمار کرد و مراقبت کرد ) احتیاط: پاییدن (اما اگر قضا رسد همه چیز بی فایده است. اشاره به داستان به دامافتادن هدهد به دست پسرک است که گرچه هدهد دام را دید باز به دامگرفتار آمد. )عوفی ,جوامع الحکایات, حکایت ١٩٢٢ )صوفیان تقصیر بودند و فقیر کاد فقراً ان یکن کفراً یبیرچون صوفیان فقیر بودن و فقر انسان را به هر کاری ممکن است وادارد اشاره دارد به حدیث ) نزدیك است كه فقر به كفرى كشد كه نابودكننده است ( دارد.ای توانگر که تو سیری هین مخند بر کژی آن فقیر دردمنداز سر تقصیر آن صوفی رمه خرفروشی در گرفتند آن همهکز ضرورت هست مرداری مباح بس فسادی کزضرورت شد صلاحاز فقر و کوتاهی آن لشکر صوفی خر صوفی را فروختند و در زماننیاز حتی خوردن گوشت مردار نیز جایز است که اشاره به آیه , ٣،سوره ما یده:اگر کسی بدون میل به گونه از گرسنگی مجبور بهخوردن غیر حلال شود, گناهی بر او نیست (… هم در آن دم آن خرک بفروختند لوت آوردند و شمع افروختند لوتلوت همان طعام است. اصطلاحی متداول درخانقاه و تکیه درویشانو صوفیان ، چنانکه در شعرهای مولوی همیشه با صوفی از آن سخنرفته است.ولوله افتاد اندر خانقه کامشبان لوت و سماعست و ولهچند ازین صبر وازین سه روزه چند چند ازین زنبیل واین دریوزه چندما هم از خلقیم و جان داریم ما دولت امشب میهمان داریم مامجلس شام و سماع برگزار شد و صوفیان شاد که صبر بر گرسنگیو تکدی گری به پایان آمده و خود را سعادتمند باشد.تخم باطل را از آن می کاشتند کانک آن جان نیست جان پنداشتندآنها در زندان حرص خود گرفتار بودند و آنچه را که بی ارزش بودروح انسانی خویش می دانستند.وان مسافر نیز از راه دراز خسته بود و دید آن اقبال و نازصوفیانش یک بیک بنواختند نرد خدمتهای خوش می باختندگفت چون می دید مِیلانش به وی گر طرب امشب نخواهم کرد، کِی؟آن مسافر خسته نیز که آن همه مهمان نوازی را می دید با خود میگفت که بهترین زمتان برای شادمانی است.لوت خوردند و سماع آغاز کرد خانقه تا سقف شد پر دود و گرددودِ مطبخ , گَردِ آن پا کوفتن ز اشتیاق و وجد جان آشوفتنگاه دست افشان، قدم می کوفتند گه به سجده، صَفّه را می روفتندچنان مجلس گرم بود که گاه پایکوبی می کردند و گاه سر به سجده میبردند. صفّه همان شاه نشین و یا کف اتاقف را گویند.دیر یابد صوفی آز از روزگار زان سبب صوفی بُوَد، بسیارخوارجز مگر آن صوفیی کز نور حق سیر خورد او فارغست از ننگِ دَقّصوفی آزمند حقیر است و تنها آن که او از نور الهی سرمست استمانند دیگر صوفیان گدائی نمی کند. دّق یا دّق الباب در زدن بهمنظور گدایی را گویند.از هزاران اندکی زین صوفیند باقیان در دولت او می زیندکه کمتر صوفی مانند او را می توان دید و دیگر صوفیان خوشنامیرا مدیون ایشانند.چون سماع آمد ز اول تا کران مطرب آغازید یک ضرب گرانخر برفت و خر برفت آغاز کرد زین حرارت جمله را انباز کردهمه را در این آواز دمساز کردزین حرارت پای کوبان تا سحر ف زنان خر رفت و خر رفت ای پسراز ره تقلید آن صوفی همین خر برفت آغاز کرد اندر حَنینآرزومندی .(آنان تا سپیده با خر « شوق دم به این ترانه پایکوبی کردندو با اشتیاقمی خواندند. » برفتخر رفت: بارها و به کرّات مولانا جسم خاکی را به خر تشبیه کردهاست. آوای "خر برفت" همان نغمه آزادی روح از بدن و جسم است.چون گذشت آن نوش و جوش و آن سماعروز گشت و جمله گفتند الوداعخانقه خالی شد و صوفی بماند گَرداز رَخت، آن مسافر می فِشاندرَخت از حجره برون آورد اوتا به خر بر بَندَد، آن همراه جوتا رسد در همرهان او می شتافترفت در آخُر، خَرِ خود را نیافتگفت آن خادم به آبش برده استزانک خر دوش آب کمتر خورده استخادم آمد، گفت صوفی: خر کجاست؟گفت خادم: ریش بین! جنگی بخاستزمانی که خر خود را نیافت از خادم سراغ خر را گرفت. خادم ازروى تمسخر گفت ریشش را ببین با این سن و سال چه پرسش احمقانهای می کند! ریش بین که ریشخند نیز از آن می آید در آن زمان کنایهاز احمق شمردن طرف بود . با این سخن جدال میان آنها در گرفت . گفت من خر را به تو بسپرده ام من ترا بر خر موکل کرده اماز تو خواهم آنچ من دادم به تو باز ده آنچ فرستادم به توبحث با توجیه کن حجت میار آنچ من بسپردمت وا پس سپارکه من ترا گمارده بودم تا از خر مراقبت کنی. آن را پس ده و مربوطسخن گو.گفت پیغمبر که دستت هر چه برد بایدش در عاقبت وا پس سپرد)اشاره به حدیث: گیرنده ضامن و کفیل است(ور نه ای از سرکشی راضی بدین نک من و تو، خانهٔ قاضی دینوگرنه ترا به نزد حاکم خواهم برد.گفت من مغلوب بودم صوفیان حمله آوردند و بودم بیم جانتو جگربندی میان گربگان اندر اندازی و جویی زان نشاندر میان صد گرسنه گِرده ای پیش صد سگ گربهٔ پژمرده ایگفت گیرم کز تو ظلما بستدند قاصد خون من مسکین شدندتو نیایی و نگویی مر مرا که خرت را می برند ای بی نواتا خر از هر که بود من وا خرم ورنه توزیعی کنند ایشان زرمباید آگاهم میکردی تا خر مرا هر کس برده بگیرم یا قیمت آن رابرندگان میان خود تقسیم کرده بدهند . صد تدارک بود چون حاضر بدند این زمان هر یک به اقلیمي شدندتَدارُک : جبران کردن و به سامان آوردن، سر و صورت دادن . من که را گیرم که را قاضي برم این قضا خود از تو آمد بر سرمکه را گیرم : چه کسى را مسئول دانم، خر خود را از که بخواهم . حالا من گریبان چه کسى را بگیرم و که را مسئول دانسته نزد قاضىببرم . تومسبب این بلا هستی.چون نیایي و نگویي اي غریب پیش آمد این چنین ظلمي مهیبچرا که نیامدى بمن بگویى این مصیبت بر من وارد شد .گفت والله آمدم من بارها تا ترا واقف کنم زین کارهاتو همي گفتي که خر رفت اي پسر از همه گویندگان با ذوق ترهر بار که آمدم تو با اشتیاقی بیش از همه می خواندیباز مي گشتم که او خود واقفستزین قضا راضیست مردي عارفستپس با خود می گفتم که اومردی عارف است ، که عالِمان به حق بهخسارت دنیوی بی اعتنا هستند.گفت آن را جمله مي گفتند خوش مر مرا هم ذوق آمد گفتنشمر مرا تقلیدشان بر باد داد که دو صد لعنت بر آن تقلید بادخاصه تقلید چنین بي حاصلان خشم ابراهیم با بر آفلانآنچنان با شوق میگفتند که من هم به ذوق آمدم. لعنت بر تقلید کهزندگانی مرا بر باد داد. مخصوصاً تقلید چنین اشخاصی بیهوده کهبراى نان زمینی جوهر انسانی را فروختند. همان طور که ابراهیمخلیل، ستاره ها را خدا می پنداشت و چون افول کردند، گفت: "لا احبّالآفلین " . خشم ابراهیم را بر آفلان : اشاره است به آیه هاى سوره مائده ١۰۴ در نپذیرفتنابراهیم ماه و آفتابِ غروب کننده را به خدایى . عکس ذوق آن جماعت مي زديوین دلم زان عکس ذوقي مي شديانعکلس ذوق و حال آن جماعت در وجود من به ذوق مى آمدم . عکس چندان باید از یاران خوش که شوي از بحر بي عکس آب کشچندان باید از پیر و یاران والا تقلید کرد تا به حقیقت رسند و انگاه ازتقلید برهند . عکس کاول زد تو آن تقلید دان چون پیاپي شد شود تحقیق آنانعکاس اولیه تقلید است و پس از تمرین و تکرار به تحقیق تبدیلمى گردد . تا نشد تحقیق از یاران مَبُر از صدف مَگسَل، نگشت آن قطره دُرّاستعاره از دامن شیخ را از دست ندادن و پى او رفتنقطره دُر نشدن : کمال نرسیدن .یعني تا به مقام پختگي و تحقیق نرسیده اي ، نباید از صدف استاد وپیر، دور ي كني. زیرا بازتاب شخصیت آنها در کمال سالک مؤثراست. درست مانند قطره بارانی که به اعتقاد پیشینیان، درون صدفمی افتد و به مروارید تبدیل می شود و پیش ازآن که تبدیل به مرواریدشود، آن را از صدف بیرون نمی آورند . پس تا به تحقیق نرسیده اى ازیاران خود جدا مشو تا قطره تبدیل به دّر نگردد از صدف نباید جداشود.البته در ابیات بعدی مولانا دوباره این مطلب را نتیجه می گیرد کهتقلید، انسان را از کمال به نقصان می برد
