The formation of this group is still in its early stages and is ever-evolving in its strength and organization. We welcome the involvement and assistance of all of our community members in shaping this new group and plan to be in contact with the NIAC for guidance anf resources as well. The iranian community in the U.S. is highly educated, healthy, and vibrant, yet unfortunately has been slow to find a voice in mainstream American culture or politics. We hope to be more involved in efforts towards creating a greater presences and encourage suggestions and assistance from anyone who would like to help. Thecommentary published in our last issue created a great deal of interest. In this issue, we are including the Persian Student Association (PSA) response in English and a letter from a parent in Persian. We also have a letter about Iranian-American topic which fits into this discussion. We emphasize again, the views presented in these letters are those of the author(s), and notnecessarily those of the Persia House of Michigan. We hope this will be a productive and positive forum in which to exchange ideas as our community grows and develops.
